Every year, India is probably the best destination for most of the migratory birds. The Endemic Birdlife International has considered this area as the EBA(Endemic Birdlife Area). In the region of Kerala and nearby places, there are approximately 66 species of the most endangered species found along the Western Ghats and Eastern Ghats as well. On an average if the Malabar Coast and the Western Ghats are considered, there are approximately 508 species of birds found. Tour to this area is the best travel destination in Kerala as it provides various options for the tourists to explore. There are several destinations for the birds and mammals tour in Kerala such as Cochin, Parabikolam, Munnar, Thekkady, Kumarakom and Trivandrum. At the “Queen of Arabian Sea” which is Cochin, the ultimate experience of birding can be seen as it is the perfect place for the migratory birds to find food and shelter. The forest will also let you witness some of the rarest varieties of tress like Sandalwood which are rare and expensive.
