Duration : 06 nights 07 days Destination : National Chambal Sanctuary, Bharatpur & Ranthambhor National Park Best Season :October to April Day 01 Agra-National Chambal Sanctuary Meals: on own Connect morning express train to Agra from New Delhi at 0600 hr. and arrive Agra at 0800 hr. OR arrive Agra at 0600 hr. by overnight train from Corbett National Park / Nainital / Varanasi. Drive to National Chambal Sanctuary (1½ hours). Boat cruise on river Chambal to see the Indian Skimmer, black-bellied tern, bar-headed goose and other waterfowl. The area is also known for Gangetic dolphin, 5 species of turtles, marsh and fish-eating crocodiles etc. Overnight stay in Chambal Safari Lodge. Day 02 National Chambal Sanctuary-Agra-Bharatpur Meals: on own Morning visit to Taj Mahal (optional). Drive to Bharatpur in the morning stopping en route for a visit to Fatehpur Sikri (optional). Arrive Bharatpur by noon. Rest of the day birding with a guide in the wetlands of Keoladeo National Park. Overnight stay in a hotel. Day 03&04 Bharatpur Meals: room only Morning boating (optional) in the wetlands to see the heronries and rest of the day birding with a guide. Overnight hotel. Day 05 Bharatpur-Ranthambhor National Park Meals: lunch & dinner Connect train at 1055 hr. to Ranthambhor National Park. Arrive at 1305 hr. and transfer to the resort. Afternoon visit in the park for tiger tracking. Overnight stay in a wildlife resort. Day 06 Ranthambhor National Park Meals: breakfast, lunch & dinner Morning or afternoon drive in a jeep/open truck for birding and tiger-tracking. Overnight stay in a wildlife resort. Day 07 Ranthambhor National Park-Delhi Meals: packed breakfast Connect morning air-conditioned train to Delhi. Arrive in Delhi in the afternoon. "Bird sightings depend greatly on season, timing, and patience. " Sightings mentioned in the itinerary are only a guide and cannot be guaranteed. Cancellation charges are 30 days before arrival date 25%, 21 days before arrival date 50%, 15 days before arrival date 90%, 7 days before arrival date 100% of the total itinerary cost. Remaining balance to reach Asian Adventures at least 30 days before tour commencement by wire transfer (to bank account stated above) or by sending a cheque made payable to Asian Adventures to the above address. Alternatively you can pay the balance in cash upon arrival.
