Binsar was ancient capital of Chand Raj who ruled in the 7th and 8th centuries Binsar
is located at a distance of 35 kms from Almora and is a well known forest reserve
and bird sanctuary. Actually there is no town named as Binsar, not even a settlement
of huts or anything, It is just the forest reserve that has been named Binsar. Binsar
is lovely picturesque hill station & Paradise for some one who is looking quite
& calm holiday with natural beauty.
