Day 01: Delhi - Paro
Arrival in Paro from Delhi. After arriving formalities, drive to Hotel Joryang'z. In the afternoon, bird along the Paro river valley looking for ibisbill, brown dipper etc.

Day 2: Paro - Thimphu to Punakha via Dochula.
Bird along the river valleys of Paro & Thimphu rivers. Entering the pristine forest of hemlock, fir, oak and blossoming magnolias and rhododendrons one should see a wealth of birds in species rich feeding flocks. Highlight of the day might be satyr tragopan, fire-tailed myzorins. Halt at Meripuensum Resort.

Day 3 & 4: Punakha River Valleys
After early breakfast, follow the Mo-Chu river to Tashithang, the rich area for birds. The species one can come across here is white-bellied heron, which is one of the 50 rare species in world. We may also see more Ibisbill as well as a host of forest birds like greater yellownape, bay woodpecker and perhaps three species of forktail, pygmy wren babbler, golden-spectacled warbler and green-tailed sunbird. 2 nights at Meri Puensun Resort, Punakha.

Day 5: Punakha - Pele-La - Wangdue
Continuing eastward, we will make a series of brief stops to scan the braided river channels, check forest edges or explore some of the small patches of cultivations. We will enter a particularly productive forest about an hour before the end of the journey and will concentrate our attentions here looking for blood pheasant, kalij pheasant, satyr tragopan or Himalayan monal and for species such as spotted laughingthrush, spot-winged grosbeak, rufous woodpecker, spotted forktail, black-eared shrike-babbler and emerald fire-tailed myzornis etc. Perhaps, you may even see red panda and a group of the rather uncommon red-headed bullfinch and several rosefinches are possible. We will also have our first proper search for ward's trogon. Night at Dragon Resort.

Day 6: Wangdue-Thimphu-Paro
As birding has already been done in this area, we will concentrate on culture sightseeing in Thimphu and Paro cities. Paro or more birding in neighbouring areas.

Day 7: Paro-Delhi
Today you depart on Druk Airlines flight KB202 at 7:30 AM arriving Delhi at 10:30 AM. Please have $10.00 per person for departure tax.

Cancellation charges are 30 days before arrival date 25%, 21 days before arrival date 50%, 15 days before arrival date 90%, 7 days before arrival date 100% of the total itinerary cost.
